Edit & Annotate

Edit, annotate, and modify PDF content

Use the edit and annotate hub when you need to change how a PDF looks, reads, or behaves on the page itself.

Best for

  • Adding signatures, comments, highlights, stamps, and form values.
  • Adjusting page appearance with page numbers, headers, footers, or watermarks.
  • Cleaning up annotations, colors, and visible page presentation before sharing.

How to choose

  • Use Sign PDF for a visible handwritten, typed, or uploaded signature.
  • Use Watermark, Page Numbers, or Header/Footer when the change should appear consistently across pages.
  • Use Edit PDF or Form Filler when the document needs page-level markup or field entry.

Quality checks

  • Confirm edits do not cover important text, form fields, or signatures.
  • Open the exported file in a reader and inspect pages at normal zoom.
  • For formal signatures, confirm the recipient accepts the signature type used.

Privacy notes

  • Visible edits can expose personal signatures, comments, or reviewer notes if the wrong file is shared.
  • Use redaction or metadata cleanup separately when information should be removed, not just covered or labeled.
